Jaclyn Wagner

Jaclyn Wagner has been working in the field of Education and Child Development for two decades. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with honors in Education and received her state certification from the Department of Education. Immediately following her Bachelor's Degree, she pursued additional education and another state certification in Special Education. Jaclyn decided to go to the Master's level through the Department of Education studying advanced Special Education and Health in an intensive accelerated program where she completed in record time with a 4.0 GPA. Jaclyn has a strong belief in being a student for life, so she continues to take every educational opportunity to learn or to attain a certificate in order to not only enhance her own life, but also enhance the lives of her clients. Jaclyn pursued her interest to help the family dynamics of the parent-child relationship by not only studying behavior analysis and modification, but also by getting involved more privately with families. She advocated privately for families whose children were not getting their educational needs met by the school districts, which was necessary under Federal guidelines. Jaclyn also served as a member of the Board of Directors of one Philadelphia nonprofit organization that had the same endeavor to advocate for children in the community. Jaclyn worked with thousands of families, starting from her time in college, in order to develop her skills and natural ability to connect with children and their parents. Jaclyn has not only worked with families uncovering this very common disconnect that often happens between the parent and child, but she has also coached many parents on reconnecting even deeper to themselves and to their children. Jaclyn has a special gift. She uses it now to coach parents to understand this disconnect and why their children won't listen to them, so they will be able to reconnect more fully in ways they never could have imagined. She had created a method called The Reconnect Method™, which she outlines in her book called, The Reconnect Method: A Guide to Getting Your Child to Listen Without Saying a Word! Now, as an author and speaker, Jaclyn reaches out to even more people to share her knowledge and The Reconnect Method™ with the world by launching an online program, doing speaking engagements and volunteering in her time and expertise at community organizations such as Golisano Children’s Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.
